Experience the benefits of engaging, stretching and invigorating your whole body while keeping the focus on meditative breathing. Join Deneille on a journey that returns to the fundamentals or basics of any Hatha or Vinyasa yoga flow. In this workshop, you will learn a brief history of the Sun Salutations, the Sanskrit names for the postures in each sequence, practice proper breathing techniques and refine your alignment of some of the most common and popular yoga poses.
What to bring: Your mat, journal, reusable water bottle, and your favorite posture you want to learn the perfect alignment for! (This can be any posture you’d like).
Deneille LaMendola is a kind, curious and passionate yogi. Her Sanskrit name is Jijñāsā, meaning 'the desire to know,' or 'curiosity.' Ever suiting her inquisitive soul, Deneille strives to share her knowledge and appreciation of yoga with everyone she crosses paths with.
Deneille loves yoga because it helped her to cultivate a deep, profound, and everlasting relationship with herself. Her yoga practice has transformed her life in a myriad of ways, but what she deems most important is how her entire frame of mind shifted. Wherever there was negativity, there is now absolute freedom and bliss. Yoga did not only change Deneille's life-- it inspired her to encourage others to do the same.
Deneille decided to become a yoga instructor because of how passionately she believes in it. From philosophy to physicality, Deneille believes that the yogic lifestyle helps us to discover the divinity within us all. To Deneille, yoga is magical, and it is the answer to all of the questions you may not have even known you were asking.
In her classes, Deneille wants to guide students on their path of self-discovery and promote a sublime life experience. Most importantly, Deneille wants each student to feel her passion and strengthen or develop their own-- on or off the mat.
